How I travel as a vegan

1. Pack your own snacks
Before leaving for travel, pack your own snacks to make for easier travel! (My favorite on-the-go snacks are here)
2. Be creative
When sitting down at a restaurant or heading to a local store, get creative with snacks and meals that you can make vegan. Many restaurants may not say they have vegan options however there are items that you can remove dairy or meat from to make them vegan.


3. go to the grocery
After settling into your destination, head to a local grocery store and pick up vegan options to make a meal at home or get snacks for the upcoming day
4. do your research
I can't stress this enough!! Look up vegan restaurants or places that offer vegan options before you leave so you are not scurrying to find one when you get there


5. ask around
My personal favorite - while yes it is important to do your research before you leave, I have also found some of my favorite restaurants while traveling by asking locals in the area about their favorites or where I can go to find vegan options
