Earth house airbnb

Albuquerque, NM

"An earth house is a structure with earth against the walls, on the roof, or that is entirely buried underground. Earth acts as thermal mass, making it easier to maintain a steady indoor air temperature and therefore reduces energy costs for heating or cooling". This is a beautiful, unique, eco-friendly Airbnb. I am a huge advocate for the environment, this was such an awesome experience to see how they transformed the house to be sustainable.

Sandia peak tramway

30 Tramway Rd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87122

WOW. If you are not into hiking this is such an amazing way to still see the panoramic views of the Sandia Mountains. The tramway is open year-round as long as the weather permits. As well as the tramway, there is a restaurant, an observation deck, and a gift shop that offer breathtaking views of the mountains. Tram tickets are available online 24 hours prior to the day you plan on riding, there is typically a longer wait time during weekends and holidays. The tramway is located within the mountains, closures and delays are common due to weather so be sure to check before you get there.
