Store mushrooms in the fridge wrapped in a paper towel to prevent them from getting slimy

Chop celery, carrots, and radishes then place them in a jar with water in the fridge

Freeze herbs in a sealed plastic bag. If you choose not to freeze them, place them in a jar with just the roots in water and the tops covered with a loose plastic bag

Keep eggs in the original packaging. To check whether the eggs are fresh, submerge in water, if the egg sinks then it is fresh!

Before storing cheese, wrap it in wax paper. If the cheese is cut, simply rub butter on the exposed portion to help it keep fresh
